Candice Accola and Kevin Williamson Dish on What's Ahead for Caroline and Tyler
We’re all wondering: Does Matt and Mama Forbes’ knowledge spell bad news for Caroline? Candice Accola told The TV Chick that right now, nothing’s for sure. It’s all up in the air, and things can change in an instant. This is TVD we’re talking about!
“It depends on the master plan that Sheriff Forbes has ultimately against the vampires,” Candice says. “And whether or not Matt stays on Sheriff Forbes’ side ...” We’d hope both of them would choose to protect their daughter/girlfriend, but who knows in this town!
Either way though, everyone’s sure Caroline can handle it. "She's the strongest character on the show,” Williamson tells TV Guide. Accola adds: “...She was given a chance to mess up and come out the other side a stronger, more secure person. She's finding herself and growing up."
Another relationship in question is Caroline’s friendship (can we even call it that anymore?) with Tyler Lockwood. Word is, he’s on his way home. How will Caroline deal with that? “It depends on why he comes back,” she says. “That’s the biggest thing. It really depends on what his intentions are.”

Kevin Williamson reveals what was originally going to go down in The Last Dance
When they first broke the story, it was intended to be even more devastating for viewers. "Originally we had planned to kill [Bonnie] for four episodes and let Elena be the one who hid her away, and surprise everyone with it," Williamson says. "But we said, 'The audience would hate us. They'll never forgive us.' Then we thought we could do this for one episode and bring her back next week. Then we thought no, better to do it at the end of the commercial break. We finally came down to a commercial break was all we could get away with."
Another change of plans this season? Katherine (Nina Dobrev) has stuck around. Williamson says that he and Julie Plec had originally envisioned Katherine leaving Mystic Falls after a handful of episodes, but Dobrev's performance changed their minds.
"I said, 'We can only bring Katherine in once or twice.' We had written the first episode and we were down on set watching Miss Nina portray her in that little black outfit and slink her way to set. I said, 'OK, we might need to rethink this,'" he says.
Much like she does in the story, "Katherine took over," Williamson admits. "We recreated the storyline. She was always supposed to be the puppeteer and the mastermind off-camera, and we brought it on-camera. It gave us another true villain and for Damon another adversary."

'Vampire Diaries' Spoilers: Tyler's Return and the Full Moon
The Vampire Diaries is nearing the end of its second season, and with that end, death is coming to Mystic Falls. What should fans expect in the final 3 episodes this season?
'The Last Day'
This is the episode airing on April 28, showing "the hours leading up to the full moon." Things get worse between Damon and Stefan, who still have conflicting views on what they need to do to make sure Elena doesn't die. It is also the episode that features Tyler making his way back to Mystic Falls when he gets "a disturbing phone call." Who could be calling Tyler? Could it involve his mother? Could Matt be calling him back now that he knows what he is? How much longer can Matt keep it a secret from Caroline that he and her mother know everything?
'The Sun Also Rises'
The episode airing on May 5 "picks up as day turns to night and, with the exception of the very end, takes place entirely on the evening of the full moon." This sounds like it's the big episode that will have some death, as according to Julie Plec, "The loss of life is significant and very, very, very tragic. The fallout of it is really painful for a lot of characters. [The title of the episode is] really meant to say that our characters, at the end of this very, very long night, need to find some glimmer of hope when morning comes because what they go through is really profoundly life-alteringly horrible for them." Uh-oh, it sounds like some fans may have to say goodbye to their favorite characters. Could Tyler be returning to Mystic Falls only to end up one of those fatalities? What will happen to Alaric once Klaus is no longer using his body? Fans thought that they lost Bonnie in "The Last Dance" unfortunately, it was just a trick. Could she still end up one of the deaths?
'As I Lay Dying'
The spoilers for the season finale don't reveal anything about who could be dying, as only Damon and Elena are mentioned. However, before this episode, something will have happened that Damon wants Elena to forgive him for; could one of the deaths be involved? During the season finale, "A Gone With the Wind movie night [is going on] in the town square," and according to Plec, "Damon…starts to relive moments from past mistakes made with Katherine back in 1864. As it always true with these events in Mystic Falls, things go horribly awry." Julie Plec also said, "The sacrifice ritual gets us to that ending [of the story this season], but there's still more story to tell. If the sacrifice is the mythology resolution, the finale is the emotional resolution." It's hard to imagine a season 3 without any of the series regulars of The Vampire Diaries, but fans are going to have to. Which character would you miss the most (not counting Elena, Stefan, or Damon)?

Nina Dobrev scores lead in "Perks of Being a Wallflower" role
Joining "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson and "Percy Jackson's" Logan Lerman in the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Perks of Being a Wallflower" is "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev. Deadline was first to report that Dobrev won the highly sought after role as Candace in the film.
The novel follows '90s teenager Charlie as he grieves after his best friend's suicide, unapologetically exploring themes of drugs, abortion, and homosexuality. Author Stephen Chbosky also wrote the script and plans to direct the film, which shoots in Pennsylvania during Dobrev's hiatus from "The Vampire Diaries," which wrapped its second season today (April 15) in Atlanta.

Vampire Diaries - "Last Dance" Spoilers
Q: Will we find out how much Matt and the Sheriff know?
A: Yes. Unfortunately for the Salvatore brothers, Caroline, and Tyler, they know pretty much everything. Matt struggles to keep up his happy-go-lucky facade when he takes Caroline to the dance (looking sharp, as Zach Roerig promised).
Q: Will Damon be shirtless again?
A: Nope. But he's wearing leather pants. We're sure you can use your imaginations.
Q: Can Jeremy Gilbert dance?
A: Not really, but to his credit, he's not much in the mood for dancing.
Q: Are there any good Damon and Elena / Damon and Bonnie / Stefan and Caroline / Matt and Caroline / Jeremy and Bonnie scenes?
All of the above. This episode might be 'shipper heaven. And yes, in the midst of a generally horrible evening, Damon and Elena do share one happy moment together. As for that slap from the promo... when you see why Elena is so devastated, you'll understand her reaction.
Q: What song do Damon and Elena dance to?
In the version we watched, they dance to "Last Kiss" - the Pearl Jam version, not the 1961 Wayne Cochran original. Fair warning, though: sometimes the music can change between the rough cut and the final air version.
Q: Does Katherine appear in the episode?
A: Briefly. She does not have a good day.
Q: Does Klaus have his vampire powers while he's in Alaric's body? Will Alaric get his body back?
A: He definitely has his powers, and in Alaric's body, he doesn't need to be "invited in" to the Salvatore boardinghouse, also known as Elena's new safehouse. We do know this... as long as Klaus is possessing Alaric, Alaric is in terrible danger. Matt Davis just a great job giving us the creeps as Klaus... and we get a few laughs out of it, too. This guy is unhinged.
Q: Are Stefan and Damon fighting over how to save Elena?
A: They've got very different strategies, and the secrets Damon keeps from Stefan begin to wear on the relationship they've worked to rebuild over the last two seasons.
SourceAmbs: I'll keep it simple. Please give me anything on Vampire Diaries!
Then we shall keep it simple, too. Someone will be dying. Elena (Nina Dobrev) will be crying. Stefan (Paul Wesley) will be smoldering. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be creepin'. Oh, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) basically tells Stefan he sucks at the one thing he's supposed to be good at...protecting his lady love.
ReRecoli: Can we get any spoilers on Damon and Elena? We are all dying for more scenes of them.
The moves Damon and Elena share during the '60s dance have more heat than Stefan would probably like to see. And it might have just been us, but when Damon started grooving with Bonnie (Kat Graham), Elena looks a little…jealous.

Kat Graham teases about The Vampire Diaries finale
The Vampire Diaries‘ bewitching Kat Graham has just confirmed a killer rumor that’s been making the rounds: a major Mystic Falls player will be offed by season’s end!
“People will die,”Graham tells TVLine. “A series regular is going kaput; that’s the reality.”
Graham, who plays teen sorceress Bonnie on The CW’s supernatural hit, is surprisingly angst-free when it comes to discussing the impending fatality. “This show has never been a safe show to be on,” she says with a laugh. “If you’re cast on The Vampire Diaries, the likelihood of you dying is very good.
“It’s a job,” she shrugs. “I know I’m a bit of a hardass when it comes to that philosophy, but I’m a huge fan of [exec producers] Kevin [Williamson] and Julie [Plec], both as people and [as] writers. So, if they’re going to explore new avenues, it’s for a good reason.”
Whatever the future holds for Bonnie — life, death or something in between — Graham assures TVD fans that her alter ego is not going down without a fight.
“Bonnie’s in a very nervous-but-prepared state now that she has her powers back and received the secret of how to take on Klaus from Jonas (Randy J. Goodwin),” Graham offers. “She knows what that entails, and she’s very much ready… She’s going to do what she needs to do, and if she is going to do anything to sacrifice herself for Elena (Nina Dobrev), she is going to do it in her way.”
Graham is extra tight-lipped when it comes to big bad über-vamp Klaus (played by British newcomer (Joseph Morgan), save for this cryptic tease: “He’s more than you imagine. That is my secret to you. That is my riddle and my big twist.”
And just in case that’s not enough, Graham leaves fans with one final zinger. “The last six episodes are huge — [there are] huge changes to the season as a whole,” she reveals. “Probably the biggest changes we’ve had in the entirety of our show.”
The Vampire Diaries is no stranger to death, with both major and minor characters having met their maker over the years. Unfortunately, it seems the Grim Reaper is making a return trip to Mystic Falls, times three! Katerina Graham, who plays witch Bonnie Bennett, tells TVGuide.com: "Three huge characters are going to die — solid characters — and it's going to change the destiny of the show." Ominous! We already know that original vampire Klaus, who first appears in the April 21 episode, needs three particular people for the sacrifice the show has been hinting at all season: a witch, a werewolf and a vampire. So who do you think it's going to be?
